I would probably rate Chris Standring as my favourite artiste for the past 3 years or more, and Soul Express as the favourite album in my whole record collection. Thus, it is with a heavy heart that I have to reluctantly say that I was slightly disappointed by Blue Bolero. It is a big departure, and perhaps a bit of a vanity project, but I didn't find the funky, beat-driven tracks that I so appreciate from other albums, and so craved here... However, Love & Paragraphs was an album that grew on me more and more with time, and I hold hopes that Blue Bolero will do the same. Sorry if it isn't as positive as I would have hoped, but I hope you appreciate honest critique from a dedicated fan. David.

I bought Blue Bolero for myself and love it. I bought it for my sister, Kathie and she wants to tell you that she loves it too. We'll see you at the release party, no doubt!!

Chris (AKA Aylesbury Boy), Good luck with the new album. When are you next in the UK? l like the new video seems to have had some GTA influence...very original though and can wait to get it on my Ipod.
