Well Chris, since 1999 (when I had the pleasure to listen to one of your compositions on a compilation CD) I have been following your work closely and Blue Bolero, 11 years past, though a change in musical direction, continues to have the magic of your unique sound. Introspective, no doubt, but that sound is there, minimalistic, with only a few instruments, the feelings that come from it shine like a morning sunset, a glorius day, a warm red sky sunset and a sensual late night kiss. Marvin Gaye´s Sexual Healing has been a making love favorite... Blue Bolero most probably will now take it´s place!!!

Chris - you are correct in saying this new CD is a major departure from your usual smooth jazz style. I like to refer to it as "Eric Clapton goes unplugged". Clapton's "Layla" sounds great either way Eric performs it and your style, Chris, shines through this new CD, too. I really enjoy all of the classical guitar work you did, since I'm partial to that instrument. The strings and alto flute only serve to compliment your melodies and their performances and never get in the way. The music is cerebral, incidental, and emotional in nature, so a listen to the tracks should be done in an undistracted, quiet listening room for better appreciation. I thank you for the autographed photo. I have it hanging in my recording studio just for inspiration, next to the rest of my guitar "heroes". LOL!

Ho molto apprezzato il coraggio di dare una svolta diversa ai suoni, qundi alla musica che risulta piacevole, netta ma nel contempo suonata con maestria e padronanza dello strumento - Piace anche tanto il timbro della batteria, usata in modo diverso ma resta regina la chitarra di Chris...bello, davvero bel cd - Complimenti
